NEET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

Before submitting an application, candidates can review the eligibility requirements from the list below:

  • Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, the deadline for applications. There is no maximum age to apply for NEET.
  • Candidates of any nationality may apply, including Indian citizens, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), and foreign nationals.
  • Exam Requirement: Candidates who have passed or are scheduled to take the 12th grade or an equivalent exam may apply.
  • Percentage: For the PCB group as a whole, regular candidates must earn 50% of the available points, while other reserved candidates must earn 40%.
  • English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are required academic areas for the qualifying exam.

How to Apply for NEET 2023

The steps for filling out the NEET 2023 application form are described here:

  • Choose the link for NEET 2023 applications
  • To register for NEET UG 2022, select the link.
  • Choose “New Registration” from the menu.
  • After carefully reading the directions, press the “Proceed to Apply” button.
  • Now complete and submit the registration form by entering your name, phone number, email address, etc.
  • A new registration ID and password will be generated following registration.
  • Re-login with your registration ID and password that were generated, then fill out the application.
  • Complete the application form with the necessary personal, educational, communication, and other information.
  • After providing the information, continue by uploading the necessary files.
  • Postcard-sized photos, signatures, thumbprints, and tenth-grade certificates must all be scanned and uploaded in the appropriate format.
  • Follow the fee payment process after the documents have been uploaded successfully.
  • Depending on the candidate’s category, the application price will be paid online.
  • Fill out the relevant information and pay the application cost by Paytm, net banking, debit card, credit card, or another payment mechanism.
  • To complete the application process, the application cost must be paid.
  • A confirmation page and fee receipt will be generated after the application fee has been successfully submitted.
  • Take a printout of the confirmation page and carefully review it for future reference.

NEET 2023 Notification

  • The NEET UG 2023 Announcement will be made public by the National Testing Agency in the final week of February 2023.
  • Second, you should be aware that registrations will start the moment the announcement is made on neet.nta.nic.in 
  • Those students who have completed the medical stream in their 12th grade are eligible to register for the NEET UG 2023 exam.
  • The NEET UG 2023 Application Form Procedure has a 1-month time limit for students.
  • Students who successfully register on neet.nta.nic.in will receive their admit cards.
