Eddie Van Halen, the guitar virtuoso whose gathering is viewed as one of the best musical gangs ever, kicked the bucket on Tuesday following a long fight with disease, his child reported.
“I can’t believe I’m saying this, however my father, Edward Lodewijk Van Halen, has lost his long and challenging fight with cancer at the beginning of today,” Wolf Van Halen wrote in a message on Twitter with an image of the rocker who was 65.
“He was the best dad I would actually request,” he included. “Each second I’ve imparted to him on and off stage was a blessing.
“My heart is broken and I don’t think I’ll actually completely recoup from this misfortune. I love you so much, Pop.”

Born in the Netherlands and brought up in California, Van Halen established the stone gathering with his more seasoned sibling Alex in the mid 1970s and immediately earned a fan base.
